Dr. Esmaeili earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. John’s University and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Stony Brook University School of Medicine. She completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Winthrop University Hospital, followed by a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at UMDNJ–New Jersey Medical School.
She pursued extensive subspecialty training through fellowships in Neuroradiology Oncology and Clinical Head and Neck Radiology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, as well as a Neuroradiology Fellowship at Weill Cornell Medical Center/New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Esmaeili is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology and holds additional certification in Neuroradiology.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Esmaeili has demonstrated a strong commitment to education and academic medicine, serving as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Neuroradiology at both Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Rutgers University. Her dedication to teaching, research, and radiology education has been recognized with the prestigious Golden Apple Teaching Award and the Edwin Gilmore Foundation Award from UMDNJ–New Jersey Medical School.
