Dr. Ashenburg received his undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University and his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. After completing an internship and residency year in Internal Medicine at the University of Rochester, he completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the Rochester General Hospital. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.
Prior to joining CRA, Dr. Ashenburg was an assistant professor of radiology at the University Hospital, Syracuse and co-director of the Vascular and Interventional Radiology section. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with added qualifications in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. Dr. Ashenburg has served as Director of Interventional Radiology at Crouse Hospital since 1995.
