Robert Ashenburg, MD

Dr. Ashenburg earned his undergraduate degree from St. Lawrence University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine. After completing an Internal Medicine internship and residency year at the University of Rochester, he pursued a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Rochester General Hospital. He then completed advanced fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center.

Prior to joining CRA Medical Imaging, Dr. Ashenburg served as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at University Hospital in Syracuse and as Co-Director of the Vascular and Interventional Radiology section. He is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology with added qualifications in Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

A recognized leader in his field, Dr. Ashenburg has served as Director of Interventional Radiology at Crouse Hospital since 1995. His extensive experience in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and vascular interventions has contributed significantly to the advancement of interventional radiology services throughout the region.
