Dr. Gromis earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California and a Master of Science in Chronic Disease Epidemiology from the Yale School of Public Health. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College and completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Metropolitan Hospital Center.
He went on to complete his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai West, where he also completed mini-fellowships in Breast Imaging, Body MRI, and Neuroradiology and served as Chief Resident. Dr. Gromis further specialized through a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging and Interventional Radiology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
Dr. Gromis is board-certified in Diagnostic Radiology and has developed expertise in musculoskeletal imaging and image-guided interventional procedures. He has authored numerous publications and presented extensively on musculoskeletal and interventional radiology topics at regional and national conferences.
Throughout his career, Dr. Gromis has demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership, education, and clinical excellence, serving in a variety of leadership roles while advancing research and innovation in diagnostic radiology.
