Dr. Montgomery received his undergraduate degree at Dartmouth College and his medical degree from Boston University. After an internship in Internal Medicine at Carney Hospital in Dorchester, Massachusetts, he completed his Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Vermont. After completing a Body Imaging and MRI fellowship at the University of Vermont, Dr. Montgomery joined CRA. He pioneered the use of the stereotactic breast biopsy procedure in Syracuse and started the area’s first Breast MRI program in 1997. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and has served as the Director of Breast Imaging at Crouse Hospital’s Breast Health Center since 1995.
